Most schools are meeting AI from two directions at once: learners who are already using it, and teachers who are expected to respond without having been trained. AkiliNest works on both sides. We train teaching teams to use AI well and safely, and we design and deliver AI learning for learners, with your own teachers or alongside them. Start with the teachers. The AkiliNest 6-Session Educator AI Program runs as six live sessions for a whole teaching team, with support between sessions, and often fits across staff development days. Teachers work on their own material, not generic examples: lesson plans, worksheets, report comments. Session one sets out what learner information must never go into an AI tool under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019. The programme closes with a rollout plan the school keeps. For learners, we develop age-appropriate content around AI and practical capability, and deliver it directly or through your own teachers once they have been prepared. The learner work draws on the same approach as our kids programme, which is mapped to the AI Literacy Framework published by the OECD and the European Commission: children think first, use AI to challenge their ideas rather than supply them, and explain what they made. What schools usually ask first. Whether AI will replace teachers' judgement: it should not, and the sessions are built to protect it. Teachers decide what is accurate, appropriate and worth using; AI drafts and suggests. Whether they need to change tools: no. We work with whatever the school already runs, whether Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or a mix, and we are honest about which tasks are worth using AI for at all. Do you come to the school? Yes. We run sessions on site and shape them around the school calendar. Many schools use staff development days. Can you work with our learners as well as our teachers? Yes. We design learner programmes with the school and deliver them directly, or prepare your own teachers to deliver them. How do you handle learner privacy? It is part of the programme from the first session. Teams agree what learner information must never be entered into a public AI tool, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019, and set clear expectations for classroom AI use. What does it cost? Each engagement is scoped and priced with the school, based on the size of the team and what you want to achieve. There is no rate card.
